Welcome on behalf of the Hanover Lions Club!

The Hanover Lions Club was chartered in November 2008.  In our first year of operations we have greatly enjoyed serving our community in a wide variety of ways at a number of different events. Presently we have 45 members. We are proud of the diversity of our group in age, occupation and gender, with as many female members as male.

In 2010 we will be at work again, repeating many of the sucessful events in which we were involved last year.  Plans are already underway for Ribfest on July 24, 2010 at the Sights and Sounds festival, and the October Blast Elmination Draw and Dance featuring Oscar's Strut on October 2, 2010.

A highlight of 2010 will be A MOMENT FROZEN IN TIME, the premiere gala at the newly completed Hanover Regional Recreation Complex - The P & H Centre, on September 11, 2010. This event planned and hosted by our club will be a spectacular evening of celebration honouring all the wonderful people who helped to turn the dream of this new facility into a reality.  There will be a Gourmet Dinner, a Silent Auction, and dancing to the music of Lulu's Roadhouse Band.  100% of the net proceeds of this event will be donated to the town's building fund for the new complex.
