Since the early 1900's Lions Clubs International has worked hard to better the lives of many people in many countries all over the world.
The Hanover Lions Club is interested in providing this same service to the people of Hanover, Ontario and the surrounding district. We also want to support Lions Clubs International in their world-wide relief and charitable work, whether by collecting and donating glasses, or by contributing to some of the various funds they sponsor for emergency use or special projects.
As a club we are proud of our town, and the way our members have stepped forward to work on a variety of projects since our club was established. Although we work to the benefit of our community, we also manage to have a lot of fun along the way too!
Monthly meetings are on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm at the Lion's Den at the P & H Centre. The cost of dinner is included in dues paid by our members twice a year.
We are always happy to welcome new members. Interested parties are welcome to attend one of our meetings to find out more about our club. The cost of your first dinner is on us, but we need to know in advance that you will be joining us. After you attend a meeting if you would like to join the club there is an application form to be completed which is then reviewed by our Membership committee. Each new member is assigned to a mentor who will help you in your first year as a new Lions Club member. You can apply to join on this website.
Details of our activities can be found on this website, in our Newsletter and in The Post in our column "Lions Club Corner". |

Do you or your organization need assistance?
Lions members – men and women – provide immediate and sustained relief in time of disaster. We improve the quality of life in our local communities and countries worldwide by building parks and hospitals, tackling big problems like fundraising to contribute to new recreational facility or small problems such as a family who needs financial assistance to put a child into a sports program.
